Q:

So realisticly, how much of the fungus would be cured after 3 treatments? If they are just discolored, would that be cured? If they are thick, would that be cured?

David B.  asked on  Jun 27, 2013

A:

We test to ensure that you truly have a treatable form of fungus. Typically the discoloration and thickness are eliminated as the fungus is eliminated. If you come in and it turns out you are not a candidate, the Groupon is fully refundable.

Q:

I so would have bought this, but your answers are contrary to your posting. It says it takes at least three treatments and it all has to be used in one visit. If I have one toe I want treated, it will cost me more. Please let me know if I am mistaken and how much it will cost to treat a single toe. I really do not like bait and switch and Groupon should be aware if this is what you are doing. If not, can you provide any information of the efficacy of this treatment?

Tamara E.  asked on  Jun 25, 2013

A:

Hey Tamara, we apologize for the confusion. You would be purchasing one (1) series of laser toenail-fungus removal which is performed by podiatrists with three (3) 15-20 minute treatments over the course of six weeks. There are two separate prices. One for 1-5 toes and one for 6-10 toes. If you're looking to treat only one toe, then you would want to purchase the $49 option which gets you $250 off the total price of the removal. The usual cost for 1-5 toes is $1050, but this Groupon will take $250 off of that price to bring it down to only $800. Hope that clears things up for you!

Q:

Does the 1-5 toes mean one foot only or can that be between both feet? Also, as the previous person asked, the $49 is for 3 treatments.... or is $49 for the first visit of the treatments and then an additional fee the next 2 treatments?

Sandra C.  asked on  Jun 24, 2013

A:

Sandra, $49 for $250 toward laser toenail-fungus removal for 1–5 toes OR $79 for $500 toward laser toenail-fungus removal for 6–10 toes. The regular cost for treatment is $1050 - $1400 for the three-visit treatment series. The total cost will be determined at your initial consultation and will be based on the type, cause and severity of the fungus as well as the procedure or combination of procedures recommended for best results. This pricing indeed covers ALL three (3) treatments.

A:

Also, it can be split between each foot. Ex: 2 on one foot, 3 on the other.

Q:

If I am reading ths right, the groupon is only good for $250 towards the $800 cost of 1-5 toes and I will have an additional $550 out of pocket in order to receive this treatment. Is that correct?

Helen H.  asked on  Jun 24, 2013

A:

That is indeed correct!

Q:

Does the $49 groupon which is for $250 for 1-5 toes cover the entire cost or will I have to pay more?

Helen H.  asked on  Jun 24, 2013

A:

Helen, you will have two options to choose from. $49 for $250 toward laser toenail-fungus removal for 1–5 toes OR $79 for $500 toward laser toenail-fungus removal for 6–10 toes With this Groupon, the rate for one to five toenails is $800 (normally $1,050), and the rate for 6 to 10 toenails is $900 (normally $1,400). Hope this helps!

Q:

Does the Groupon cover all three treatments?

Helen H.  asked on  Jun 24, 2013

A:

The Groupon indeed covers all three treatments, correct!

Matt A.  from  Merchant  replied on  Jun 24, 2013

Q:

How many treatments does this grouon include? Will I see results after one treament or will it take more than one? Will the groupon cover the additional treatments?

Helen H.  asked on  Jun 24, 2013

A:

Podiatrists combine two laser therapies to clear toenail fungus in series of three 15- to 20-minute treatments performed in six weeks. Most of our patients see results after the first treatment, but depending on the severity of the case, sometimes it may take more than one treatment.
