Q:

I have Care Credit that I would like to use to purchase this Groupon. Am I able to purchase this using Care Credit and get the same promotions on the Care Credit card like usual? For example- No interest for 6-12 months. Thank you!-Caitlin

Caitlin B.  asked on  Apr 19, 2013

A:

If you wish to use CareCredit, you cannot do that directly through the web site, but we can handle that by calling us at 425 678 1949. We will be in our office 7AM Monday morning and the Groupon deal will still be on.

Q:

Can I purchase this groupon without getting a consultation? And get a consultation sometime next week, and if I am not a candidate still get my money back?

Karina Z.  asked on  Apr 17, 2013

A:

Not a problem. If invisalign is not an appropriate treatment, you get $ back.

Q:

I have been to multiple orthodontic consultations and so I am well versed in all things Invisalign. Is this deal for Invisalign EXPRESS or for a FULL treatment? I have read many stories from people buying Groupon deals to find out they received the EXPRESS treatment (which is 10 set of retainers or less, for anyone reading). How can I guarantee that this treatment is the full one before I buy? Why wouldn't retainers be included in this if it were the full treatment - for anyone reading this, a retainer is usually included in the FULL treatment, not the EXPRESS one. Also, do you offer fiber optic 3D scanning in place of traditional putty impressions?

Madison H.  asked on  Apr 17, 2013

A:

It is for full treatment. As many aligners as needed Retainers are not included because several options for retainers are available, but are very reasonably priced from $240 for a single set up to $587 for 4 sets of retainers. And remember, the price is only $2999 to start with. I have an Itero scanner at my Bellingham office. We have not had any problem with our putty impressions. Over 600 cases done with them.

Q:

Are there any other costs other than what is covered by this Groupon deal? I'm looking to get Invisalign for my college age son (at UW) not covered by his Dad's dental insurance (due to being over 19 now). I just took him to my daughter's orthodontist for a consult and was disappointed to here the insurance won't cover him now. So I found your deal and am excited that it might be affordable now. Before I proceed and buy the deal I wanted to know if there are other costs and how long do we have to decide? I see only a few days left on this deal. Thanks, Carol

Carol J.  asked on  Apr 16, 2013

A:

The only cost would be for retainers at completion and there are different kinds. That varies from about $250 to a maximum of $587 for 4 sets of retainers.

Robert K.  from  Merchant  replied on  Apr 16, 2013

A:

Retainers are the only other expense. The price varies according to the style and quantity you want but costs range from around $250 for a single set up to $587 for four sets of Invisalign's best ones.

Q:

In order to get this half off deal, do I have to pay the cost upfront or is there a payment plan option?

Noura A.  asked on  Apr 16, 2013

A:

Hi, Noura. We do have payment plans available that you can use to purchase the Groupon deal. I will be in my Bellevue office this Thursday. I can give you a quick consult to see if you are a good candidate for Invisalign and talk about how to purchase the deal on time. The groupon will be running for a while more, so do not worry about missing out on it. 425 765 1949 Dr Bob

Q:

Can you still have other work done to your teeth such as tooth extractions even after the invisalign molds have been created?

Fabian C.  asked on  Apr 10, 2013

A:

Sorry to be long getting back on this. Was having an attack of "Boomers don't know how to use computers" disease. Because the appliances are made all at once -- you crooked to you straight -- if you change the shape of your teeth mid-treatment, the aligners will likely not fit properly, so best to get things done before starting invisalign. As to the matter of teeth being extracted, if you are referring to your wisdom teeth, it will have no effect because they would not be incorporated in the appliance coverage. If you are referring to some other teeth, it generally would not affect the invisalign treatment if say you were having something extracted to place an implant. I can be more specific if you can describe what might be happening for you that is of concern. You can email me directly through our website.

Q:

I recenelty inqured with an cosmetic dentist about using invisalign to close by open bite. He said that he would be 'optomisitic' to tell me that invisalign would work to fix my open bite completely. He mentioned that he could do a lab/computer analysis to see the likely results for a fee of around $600. For this groupon, the fine print says that 'non-candiate' customers will be refunded. I feel like my situation is in a grey area... I am a canidate but not a great canidate. If I purchase the groupon, even if I am deemded a canidate, do I still have to option to take the refund after my consultation? Thank you! Laura

Laura I.  asked on  Apr 8, 2013

A:

Open bites are easily treated with invisalign. In fact, easier than braces. The problem with open bites is they are usually caused by a "habit" like tongue thrust swallowing, thumb sucking (you probably don't do that unless you still have a teddy bear..............)and the problem is in retaining the teeth after they are straight. You will likely need to wear a retainer more than the average person, but that is generally all there is to the problem. If you are not a good prospect, however, you will get a refund. I will be in my Issaquah office Tuesday and Ballard on Wednesday. If you would like a consultation in advance, simply call 425 765 1949 today and we can see you tomorrow.
