Q:

How long does one usually take to recover? Would I need to take many days off work? (I work in an Architecture office) Is there an initial consultation and is there a fee associated with such a consultation or any follow up appointments beyond the cost of the surgery?

Kubo  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

With Lasik your only down for one day. You could go back to work the next day after your first day follow up. So you really only need to take one day off from work for your actual procedure day. We do have an initial consultation that is included in the package we are offering as well as all the follow ups and any retreatments up to one year. The only other fees that would not be covered are your prescriptive drops, options to upgrade to lifetime package and punctal plugs for dry eyes. This would all be discussed with you at your initial evaluation.

Q:

I live in Central Oregon. Do you have a place here that I can get a consultation or do I need to do it there? And can you do consult and surgery on the same day?

Teresa B.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

Our closest facility would be either our Portland Metro office or Kennewick Washington office. We can't do the same day consult and surgery due to your pupils being dilated, but we could do a consult the day before surgery.

Q:

Does this procedure work for presbyopia ?

Beverly R.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

No. Your only option for presbyopia is an option called mono vision which is when one eye is corrected for distance and the other eye is left nearsighted to help with reading.

JAMIL K.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

Yes we can fix astigmatism and this would be treated in Laser Vision Correction. We offer the free evaluation so you can have all these questions answered unique to your own prescription.

Q:

What about after the first year? If there are any problems, is there any follow-up or corrections if needed?

Vincent A.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

All follow ups are included with the groupon but after your first year if you every needed a retreatment that would be $699/eye or you also have an option to upgrade to a lifetime package that would include any retreatments for life.
