What You'll Get
Rock climbing is a fun and efficient way to boost total-body fitness, make new friends, and learn techniques for escaping an out-of-order escalator. Defeat malfunctioning moving staircases with today’s Groupon: for $37, you get a one-month unlimited climbing pass at Climb North in Wildwood (a $75 value).
Elevation enthusiasts have been ascending Climb North’s challenging indoor wall for almost 20 years. Boasting more than 30 distinct routes to the summit and a cadre of clamber-friendly top ropes, the more than 5,000-square-foot edifice presents a wide range of expedition options for climbers of all experience levels. Beginners can practice the basics of belaying in a friendly setting unspoiled by the ego-bruising taunts of snobby ibexes, and veterans will find their surface-scaling skills tested by cracks, chimneys, laybacks, and roof climbing. For a less vertical venture, visitors can achieve the grip strength of an arm-wrestling lobster on Climb North’s bouldering walls. The membership available with today’s Groupon also includes rentals from Climb North’s full cache of equipment, including shoes, helmets, chalk bags, and harnesses. Like lazy calendars, the facility’s hours change seasonally.
