Discover the ease and breeze of maritime transportation with today's side deal: for $59, you get one adult ticket for a ferry ride (a $125 value, fuel charge included) between Seattle and Victoria, British Columbia, from Clipper Vacations. This deal is valid for the 7:30 a.m. Seattle departure time and 7 p.m. Victoria return time, with an additional $10 charge for the 3:15 p.m. Seattle departure time and 5:30 p.m. Victoria return time. Buyers must travel by Sunday, September 26. After this date, the Groupon becomes a $59 credit that can be applied toward normal Clipper rates.
The passenger-only Victoria Clipper is located between Pier 70 and the Edgewater Hotel in Seattle and at 254 Belleville Street in Victoria, with frequent departures throughout the day. Over the course of two to three hours, you’ll cruise through the nature-oozing scenery of Puget Sound and the Strait of Juan de Fuca before arriving in Victoria’s Inner Harbour, famous for the superfluous “u” in its name. During your passage to Canada, you can snack on some grub from the onboard menu or buy a nice gift for the girlfriend you made up in high school with duty-free shopping.
Ever since Carrot Top attempted to cross the Canadian border carrying non-flame-retardant hair and drugs hidden in his muscles, you now have to show an ID and proof of citizenship to pass through customs into Canada. With beautiful landscapes surrounding you on all sides and access to the Victoria Clipper’s bountiful resources, sit back and enjoy the ferry ride while you whittle wood into a horse medallion for the lapel of your tuxedo T-shirt.
Must make reservation at least seven days in advance and arrive 45 minutes before departure. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required.
