About Clouse Stables

Clark Clouse's father, Tommie, worked with horses for more than 40 years while tending his own barn, so it was only natural that Clark too would excel at riding long after his father's retirement. Clark, with more than 20 years of experience training horses, has won more than 35 World Championship titles and was named 'young trainer of the year' in 2007. At Clouse Stables, he and Sheila Clouse board and train American saddlebreds, and they also offer lessons for riders of all experience levels. The riding instructor at the stables, Maryta Montgomery, has been successfully competing in the show ring since 1992. Montgomery received training from some of the best riding instructors in the Saddlebred industry, including instruction from Renee Biggins and Missy Hughes. The stables are situated on ten acres with an indoor arena an outside track.
