Being I enjoy photography and have tried shopping for camera and lenses, I have learned awhile ago that unless you use Nikon or Canon gear your camera can't take photo's. Does your class offer students the option of using gear other than those mentioned. I personally use Sony/Minolta gear. Because of that choice in gear, many retailers (National Camera) for example treat you like you have the plague. Does this offer also include Sony/Minolta cameras? I have purchased lighting for a studio however I am having trouble "fine tuning" my camera and lights. If your offer for the advanced class will help ME better understand now to set up my camera, I will gladly take this class.

Hey Bradley, Our staff is pretty well versed in Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Sony, Minolta, Panasonic, Olympus, and other camera types. Regardless of what system you use, the principles of photography stay the same. The only thing that changes is the way in which the camera is the way in which you access certain features/functions that vary a bit from system to system. One issue that you will run into is that with Sony cameras, they do not use a standard hotshoe mount for flashes, so some of the studio lighting stuff might be difficult. Unfortunately we do not provide equipment for our classes. You would need to bring your own gear (other than studio lighting). Chris
