Q:

Thanks that was helppful. One more question, do we bring our own beding (sleeping bags, air matress, blankets, Pillows) I guess my question is what do you provide what do we bring. Backpacks ok for the hike, how much of incline? Thanks

Kathy S.  asked on  Jun 25, 2013

A:

Not too much of an incline. It's very manageable. Here's what to bring -backpack, sleeping bag, pillow - insect repellent (we take steps to attempt to alleviate any bugs) - snacks, and beverages that you personally want. (We'll bring water) - long pants (don't have to be worn but bring along) - shorts and change of clothes (we swim!) -hoodie or thermal - *proper footwear!* hiking shoes or boots - must tell guide of all medical conditions and medication

Q:

How many people can ride in one tube?

Alicia M.  asked on  Jun 24, 2013

A:

One rider per tube. If you have kids, we have smaller tubes with bottoms in them and twine that you can tie that tube to yourself so they aren;t floating away from you and you have less worry!

Q:

What accommodations come with the ten for the hike and which tubing event goes with the hike. Also do you do the tubing before the hike or can it be done the next day when you return?

Kathy S.  asked on  Jun 25, 2013

A:

Hey Kathy! You'll be sleeping in tents at a campsite along clear shade creek. The faciltrees are all around you. You'll be away from civilization for approximately 18-20 hours so plan accordingly. You can do the tubing before the hike (which meets at 2pm at our shop) or tube the following day after we cook you breakfast and shuttle you back to our shop. Hope that helps!

Q:

Can I bring my dog if she has her own flotation device? Thanks!

Jesse P.  asked on  Jun 24, 2013

A:

Absolutely! We love dogs! The only thing you'll need is a $20 deposit in case any tube pops in your group. We have to assume it was the pup. They can ride the shuttle too!

Q:

Does the tubing include a shuttle to the parking area at the start or end of the trip? In other words, how to do I get back to my car?!

Evelio A.  asked on  Jun 24, 2013

A:

You'll park at our shop, we shuttle you up to the put-in we are using that day and you'll float back down to our shop and your car.

Q:

How long does the typical float last?

Jesse P.  asked on  Jun 24, 2013

A:

It depends on what put-in we are using that day due to water level. around 1.5-2.5 hours. The 1.5 hour run is 1.5 miles long and you can do that a few times if you like, all included in your rental. If the water is higher we do a 3.5 mile stretch which lasts 2-3 hours. If you want to run that again, there is an additional shuttle charge.
