What You'll Get
The existence of prehistoric pottery shards paints a clear picture of ancient artisanal practices while highlighting ancestral clumsiness. Leave behind traces of your own civilization with today's Groupon: for $20, you get $40 worth of paint-your-own ceramics at Color Me Pottery in Fayetteville.
At Color Me Pottery, fledgling Picassos of all ages design custom ceramic creations with colorful paints of their choosing, within a bright, friendly environment. Select raw bisques from an extensive selection, including coffee mugs ($16–$25), dinner plates ($17–$25), pasta bowls ($16–$25), and piggy banks ($20), which are all eager to sport a representation of Grover Cleveland's mustache. Then artists can select their color palette, browse through an idea book for inspiration, or sort through a vast selection of stamps and stencils. After each masterpiece has been fully realized, the resident earthenware wizards will do the glazing and firing, returning pieces ready to eat, drink, and lick peanut butter off of in 10 to 15 days. Color Me Pottery has no studio fees, so the entire value of each Groupon can go toward your choice of blank ceramic canvas.
