Q:

I'm confused. It's a "free" university? You charge tuition? Please explain.

Steve J.  asked on  Apr 14, 2014

A:

The “Free” in Free University comes from the belief that there should not be barriers to learning or sharing knowledge and that students should have the freedom to choose what they want to learn.

Q:

On what days the classes will be there?

dinesh k.  asked on  Apr 14, 2014

A:

We have classes going all the time. Most computer classes are on weekdays, though we do have weekend and evening ones as well. The bulk of our classes are in the evenings and on weekends, but we have week day classes as well. Search the offerings and find times at www.freeu.com

Q:

Can the $100 credit be used for two people to register for the same class? Example: My wife and I are looking at a class with a registration fee of $51. $51X2 = $102. Can the groupon be used for the full $100 in this example or would it just be good for $51 (the first registration fee)?

Steven G.  asked on  Apr 11, 2014

A:

No, each groupon voucher must be used by the same person. You cannot split the voucher between two people.
