A good workout regimen provides the courage needed to march back into the office, take the clown nose off, and demand a smaller, funnier car. Fill oversize shoes with self-confidence with today's Groupon: for $55, you get one month of unlimited access to Krav Maga self-defense, CrossFit, and fitness classes at Colorado Krav Maga's two locations, in Denver and Broomfield (up to a $199 value).
Voted Denver's best martial-arts program by 7News watchers, Colorado Krav Maga's martial masters instruct students of all ages in this time-tested self-defense system. Originally developed by Israel Defense Forces, Krav Maga teaches practical, no-frills defenses against common chokes and grabs, such as bear hugs, arm bars, and overly complicated secret handshakes. Psychological tactics supplement the punches and kicks, teaching students to cope with sudden high-stress situations or the prospect of violence. The studio's CrossFit classes toss a variety of physical challenges at pupils in order to render them more athletic, lean, and capable of winning staring contests before they start.
Training regimes and sparring matches stomp and whirl across the 2,500-square-foot open training centers, keeping students on their toes by occasionally shifting outdoors and less frequently taking place on the moon. Colorado Krav Maga offers multiple classes per week, with separate online schedules for the Denver and Broomfield locations.

About Colorado Krav Maga
James Hiromasa is an authority on krav maga, the self-defense technique that's used by the Israeli Defense Forces. He's on the krav maga advisory board, he regularly trains krav maga instructors, and he has received two krav maga certifications from the Wingate Institute in Israel. His wife, Shannon Lukeman-Hiromasa, also punched her way to two krav maga certifications from Wingate, and earned a CrossFit certification to boot. Together, they've pooled their krav maga, martial arts, and fitness expertise to not only open Colorado Krav Maga, but expand it to four locations. For an idea of the size of the operation, the duo and their staff's krav maga, CrossKick, and martial arts programs collectively combine for more than 55 classes each week, or one for every member in an orchestra.
