When a California state champion wrestler speaks about fitness, it might be wise to listen. Meet Shane Rosselle, the CrossFit-certified trainer at Colorado Springs CrossFit. Each day, Shane and his crew design a new Workout of the Day (WOD) based on CrossFit’s principles of varied, functional fitness. Workouts change constantly and include a mix of exercises that range from Olympic weightlifting and plyometrics to running, rowing, and bodyweight exercises. To mix things up a bit, they also include unconventional fitness methods such as sled pushing, rope climbing, and gymnastics-inspired moves.
