What You'll Get
With interesting instrument combos playing rarely-performed pieces, Colorado's leading woodwind, brass and percussion symphony brings some excitement to the chamber-music scene with their latest concert at St. Andrew Methodist Church in Highlands Ranch. You'll enjoy several works performed by the clarinet section, including the 1904 Scott Joplin rag, The Cascades, as well as a pair of Latin-themed compositions from the trombone quartet, and even a couple for the unusual grouping of flute, saxophone and piano, like Charles Koechlin's tribute to the actress Jean Harlow.
