What You'll Get
Artistic expression can take the form of a vibrant painting, a stunning sculpture, or front-yard hedges trimmed into the shape of longing. Let creativity blossom with today's Groupon: for $18, you get a painting class from Colors and Bottles (a $36 value). This Groupon is valid for the following classes:
- Paint in the Park at Columbus Commons, 1 p.m.–4 p.m. on Sunday, September 25
- Shopping and Painting at Bar Louie in Easton Town Center, 2 p.m.–5 p.m. on Sunday, October 2
- Cocktails and Painting at Bar Louie in the Arena District, 6 p.m.–9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26
This Groupon may also be used for any open and scheduled classes within the next six months.
During Colors and Bottles events, burgeoning painters sip libations at swanky local spots as they paint under the guidance of working artists. During one of three scheduled classes, each Dionysian initiate spends three hours crafting a 16” x 20” magnum opus using the materials provided, including six paints, an easel, and brushes individually breathed on by Bob Ross. Brush brandishers learn from a new local artist each month, modeling their compositions off of a painting selected by the artist or conceiving their own designs. Most events encourage visitors to bring their own beverages; some bars will serve discounted drinks in lieu of libations from home. In addition to unlocking artistic abilities, the owners of Colors and Bottles donate $1 of every ticket purchased to Ohio State's Comprehensive Cancer Center.

About Colors & Bottles
Colors & Bottles' founder Jessica Burley and her band of talented local artists are dedicated to supporting local emerging talent and businesses through art instruction held at nearby venues. Their resident artists travel to local eateries and art galleries, where they teach students of all skill levels to fashion dimensional masterpieces through step-by-step instruction. They also kindle creativity during private parties held at the location of your choice, asking only that the destination be outfitted with enough tables, chairs, and paint-by-numbers templates of the Sistine Chapel ceiling for all invitees. Colors & Bottles has received a nod for their engagingly creative events on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and within the pages of the Columbus Dispatch.
