Q:

How much does bone grafting cost? Can you give me price range please? Also, if I cannot afford the whole procedure with the add on price of bone grafting for example, can I refund my groupon? Thanks

A:

Cost of bone graft depends on size and other specs like location etc it can range from $500 to $2000+ usd. Also remember groupon promise to refund your payment if you are not a suitable candidate for this procedure after our free consult.

Q:

Dr. Askara, I was considering a trip to Costa Rica for dental implants (I actually have an appointment on November 28, 2012) until I saw your special on dental implants. I would like to know the timeline of how quickly I can have the work done (from xrays to implants). If I need bone grafting, how expensive (how much) would that be? I had a CT Scan 2 years ago that said I had enough bone for the implants (performed at UD Mercy). My previous dentist said I need 2-3 implants. Should I purchase 2 or 3? (Can I gift myself within the limits of the offer?) Thank you. Patricia Vail

A:

Appointments are available. There is not much wait time unless required for healing or other reasons. Ct scan from 2 yrs ago may not be ua Sable at this time. We recommend more recent scan. If bone graft is needed either from the ct scan evaluation or at the time of surgery, the cost will depend upon the amount of bone used. There is a limit of 1/ individual. We recommend you purchase one and have an evaluation done to determine how many implants you need based on needs and wants. Thanks for your questions. We look forward to seeing you in our office.
