What You'll Get
Acupuncture redirects the flow of energy, just like hooking up a car battery to a pumpkin. Get recharged with this Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $19 for one acupuncture treatment with a consultation and an herbal consultation (up to a $50 total value)
- $29 for three acupuncture treatments with a consultation and an herbal consultation (up to a $130 total value)
- $39 for five acupuncture treatments with a consultation and an herbal consultation (up to a $210 total value)
In group sessions, acupuncturists rechannel energy throughout the body to promote overall wellness. The herbal consultation begins with a discussion of the client’s health, followed by a pulse and tongue examination. When taking pulses, both the speed and the quality of the pulse are observed on three different locations on both wrists. These tests allow the herbal consultant to gauge the function of the major organs, which leads to a diagnosis of any imbalances. All packages include the first-time patient fee.
Communi-Qi Acupuncture's regular rates are calculated on a sliding scale. The value of this Groupon comes from the highest price per session and includes the first-time patient fee.

About Communi-Qi Acupuncture
At Communi-Qi Acupuncture, healing is a group effort. Rather than treating patients one by one, the wellness center's acupuncturists bring clients together for group sessions that mimic the traditional setting of Asian acupuncture. They believe that collective energy aids in the pursuit of wellness, and that patients are best served when they feel enmeshed in a network of positive energy.
In the treatment area, clients sip tea, place shoes and socks in a private basket, and recline in a comfortable chair as they await one of four practitioners. At the start of treatment, clients pull back their sleeves to elbow level, and roll back their trousers or Zubaz to knee level. The acupuncturist speaks with each patient to determine a treatment plan, and then applies hair-thin, sterile, disposable needles in the appropriate location.
