Compass did a terrific job, we immediately noticed a better air quality thanks to the removal of allergens and grime from the ducts. We had to have Compass do a deep cleaning on the vents because mildew was starting to form, this is especially important if you're a dog/cat owner because pet hair and dander can speed up the process. If you haven't had your ducts cleaned in several years it's going to get expensive really quick. We will be having Compass come back next year to do a regular cleaning.

If you buy any of these duct services Groupons from this company or others, be aware of what you're getting. These Groupons are mainly to evaluate your home and give you an estimate (usually >$300) for how much it would cost to sweep and clean your whole system. They'll tell you that they shouldn't just do a partial job, which is what your groupon is for, because it just disturbs the particles and doesn't get it all. I did have him vacuum my ducts and the dryer vent, but had to sit through the sales pitch and he wasn't entirely happy that I wasn't signing up to buy the whole $380 package. He was good though and if I decide to do a whole house clean, I'll probably call them because the estimate was reasonable.

Of course, once they get there they want to clean more than just your ducts....like your main lines and cold air returns. But we all knew the price was too good to be true and they do great work. It was so cool to see the difference between the before and after videos! The dirt they got out of my ducts was so gross.
