According to the Competition 101 Racing school website, "You are responsible for all damages to the race cars, up to a maximum of $25,000. You may reduce your liability to a maximum of $1,000 by purchasing car damage protection for $50. This protection is available at the race track on the day of your driving school."

Just to confirm. I understand that this Groupon deal includes: A 40 minute class about driving a race car and is immediately followed by 20 laps on an actual well known race track. Explicitly, the purchaser of this Groupon is the lone driver of a furnished race car for 20 laps.
