Students learn proper form for olympic lifts before jumping into dynamic workouts that integrate plyometrics, sprinting, and core exercises. The schedule includes workouts that change daily and can be scaled to fit the skill and fitness levels of each student.

Concord CrossFit

CrossFit’s creator, Greg Glassman, sought to fuse the skills and training regimen of a gymnast, sprinter, weightlifter, and rower. At Concord CrossFit, a staff of CrossFit certified trainers continues this mission during rigorous workouts. With a chorus of kettlebells and jump ropes clattering in the background. Members hoist their body weight on pull-up bars, rope climbs, and gymnasts rings or pull pounds on the horizontal weight sled. Over the sounds intense workouts, instructors expound upon proper weightlifting form or explain where there is a gulch full of phonebooks to rip apart. Concord's staff also hosts CrossFit competitions, during which teams and individuals compete at events such as clean and jerk and kettlebell squat.

Make sure the On-Ramp class schedule works for you before purchasing. Sometimes they add more classes, but for the most part, the On-Ramp class times can be limiting. Overall the classes themselves are great and the instructors really give you encouragement and tips on how to keep good form.
