When Cook It Up's owner and head chef Lily Valadez was a little girl, she spent hours at the library pouring over cookbooks, unlike her contemporaries who were doing their homework or firing spitballs at sleeping librarians. She shares her lifelong passion, teaching the fundamentals of cooking to kids as young as 3 years old. She also offers themed adult classes, during which she schools students on how to prepare hors d'oeuvres and three course meals at home. In addition to its standard curriculum, Cook It Up hosts parties that range from cake decorating for kids to sushi rolling for adults.
