What You'll Get
Cookies, like dachshunds, babies, and mannequins, make universally popular gifts. Today's Groupon ensures your next gift-giving adventure or personal treat is fail-proof: for $9, you get two dozen fresh-baked cookies from Cookies of Course (a $20 value). Shop in-store or online.
Cookies of Course opened its treat-slinging outpost in 1984, and the family-owned and family-operated sweeterie serves up the non-hydrogenated confections in its sustainably designed Harbour Centre storefront Monday through Saturday. Your Groupon is good for two dozen of the baked batter rounds; mix and match among the selection of cookie flavours, or pack a double dozen of a singular style of treat. The daily cookie menu boasts a cast of classic flavours, including chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, and butterscotch pecan, with daily rotating cookies du jour blended into the mix from among inventive offerings. Peel your eyes and be ready to pounce on the ever-elusive batch du jour of the dark-chocolate cranberry, macadamia white chocolate, or vegan chocolate-chip banana oatmeal.
Cookies of Course recently completed an intra-store green renovation, and the space is now primarily swathed in sustainable materials, with solid-paper countertops and cork-tiled walls, which make it an ideal place to bring a hypoglycemic environmentalist for a quick cookie-powered boost. Cookies of Course also offers delivery service for an additional fee; you can find more information on the treat-ferrying services here.
Call in advance to check the availability of vegan, low-fat, and cookie du jour options.
- This place is a real gem-- a little kiosk in Harbour Centre near SFU downtown, and they have the best cookies I've had anywhere in the lower mainland. – dessertfan, DineHere
- These cookies are super soft and boxed still warm. The owner is very environment-friendly and very helpful. – epicurious, DineHere

About Cookies of Course
After baking cookies at the Cookies of Course storefront for 29 years, Alan Boysen recently turned to delivery as a means to supply his customers with fresh-baked treats. Despite losing their beloved retail space to a renoviction, the Cookies of Course crew now serves up more than 20 styles of cookie from their delivery Prius, ferrying everything from tubs of cookie batter to dozens of peanut butter chocolate chip treats straight to doors. A rotating menu of cookies du jour keeps customers guessing with options such as peanut butter milk chocolate and Kona cookies made with coconut, macadamias, milk chocolate chips, and ground organic coffee beans. Staff can even accommodate orders with a day's notice if placed before 8 a.m., and deliver treats for a forgotten birthday or impromptu Cookie Monster shrine.
