During the Taste of Polonia, festival attendees munch on Polish food and sip Polish beer while live music plays. Other entertainment includes the kids’ fun zone with inflatables and a climbing wall, as well as games. The event takes place September 4–7. See the schedule.
Taste of Polonia
The Taste of Polonia, situated in the heart of the Jefferson Park neighborhood and one block from CTA and Metra stops, is one of the largest Polish Fests in the country. The festival stretches over the Labor Day weekend, welcoming crowds to celebrate Polish culture with traditional eats and loads of live music.
On four stages, over 30 Bands such as Tributasaurus, Lava Rocks, Cat Fight, Lance Lipinsky, and Gentlemen of Leisure entertain audiences all 4 days. The festival also hosts kid-friendly events, such as clowns, face painting, contests, carnival games, and a bounce house village. Free parking is available at the Irish American Center, just five minutes away from the Copernicus Center.
