What You'll Get
Like teaching a teenager to drive, waxing begins with fear and clenched muscles, but it eventually becomes a simplified daily routine. Boldly go bare with today's Groupon to COR Cosmetics. Choose between the following options:
- For $15, you get $30 worth of cosmetics.
- For $25, you get $50 worth of waxing services.
The staff of experienced aestheticians at COR Cosmetics expertly wax away hair for lasting smoothness with a full stock of organic and vegan cosmetic products. Waxing services strip unwanted hair from a variety of areas, from the eyebrows ($15) and the full face ($40) to the arms ($25/half; $40/full), leaving skin with the confidence required to swim in a string bikini or brandish a painted chest at a croquet tournament.
Armed with an array of prettifying products, COR's makeup artists match skin tones to foundation free of charge. Organic and vegan mineral foundation, made with only four ingredients, conceals and smoothes without irritating sensitive skin ($22). Gel eyeliners ($16) resist water and smudging, perfect for watching the end of Titanic from inside a lifeboat. Skincare lines such as PCA Skin, 100% Pure, Whish Afterwax, and COR Cosmetics cleanse makeup and daily debris from epidermises to keep acne-prone, aging, or impetuous skin polished and pampered. A full list of waxing areas and cosmetic products can be viewed online, though the in-store selection may vary.

About COR Cosmetics
It all began with a quest to find makeup without harmful ingredients that would also look good on camera. COR Cosmetics owner Amber Brophy worked diligently with chemists to create a 100% vegan mineral foundation composed of only four ingredients and free of irritants such as talc, carmine, and bismuth oxychloride. The licensed esthetic instructor has been in the industry for more a decade and a half, recently returning to business from a brief hiatus. She has an impressive portfolio of work while enhancing faces at weddings, fashion shows, and on the celebrity-studded sets of television shows and movies. Patrons can find Amber in the Midtown area where she is renting space in tranquil Align Chiropractic.
