Core Balance Yoga Center gets yogis stretching and strengthening through yoga basics, hot yoga, Hatha flow, gentle yoga, and power Vinyasa classes. The highly trained instructors hold about 16 classes per week and guide pupils through sessions built to suit a variety of goals and skill levels.

The 60-minute yoga basics class caters to beginning benders or advanced students with terrible memories, and the 75-minute gentle yoga and meditation class emphasizes serene stretching and contemplation. Yogis of all skill levels can practice still and moving postures in 60-minute Hatha flow classes or build strength and endurance with a 60-minute Vinyasa session. Hot yoga, a 75-minute class suitable for everyone, envelops students in 90–95-degree heat to detoxify bodies and to boost frozen-yogurt sales. Leah Morgan, Core Balance Yoga Center’s founder and director, helms a troop of certified instructors who each pull on their unique interests and experiences to lead a variety of yoga classes. Clara Vaughn channels her personal desire for introversion and mimicking pink lawn flamingos to lead the gentle yoga and meditation classes and Anita Bailey draws on her experience as a mother of four to lead classes infused with a playful energy. With the intention of creating a community of yogis, they lead a wide spectrum of classes.

This place is great! I have tried out several instructors and they have all been great, though very different. I've been able to experience some real booty-kicking workouts, some extremely relaxing therapeutic classes, and a little in between. Everyone- teachers and other students- have been extremely nice and welcoming.

LOVE this studio!! The instructors are so friendly and make everyone feel like their important. I just started getting into yoga and they help everyone in their own way. Such a relaxing studio and great atmosphere!
