Using a system designed by a former navy seal, boot campers complete interval training that can often involve hefting kettlebells and tossing sandbags and medicine balls. Classes also use a system of ropes that allows students to use their own body weight to help build strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination while helping shed fat, build muscle, and boost cardio health. Boot camps are held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., noon, 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m. On Saturdays, they’re held at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10 a.m.<p>
Core Group Fitness
The instructors at Core Group Fitness have shaped the physiques of U.S. soldiers, battled for glory in the professional MMA ring, and conquered distance events. But that doesn’t mean their fitness techniques are beyond the reach of an average Joe. To the contrary, their unique brand of cross-fit and interval training reroutes clients to healthy paths fast by matching proper nutrition with intense workouts. They often use battle ropes, sandbags, sleds, and other hefty pieces of equipment throughout classes.
