Professional bobsled teams shave seconds off their time by breathing in unison and leveraging flexibility during turns. Master the techniques necessary to defeating hardened gangs of bobsled criminals with today's Groupon: for $49, you get one month of unlimited classes at CorePower Yoga (up to a $149 value). Redeem this deal at any of the following top-rated studio locations in Point Loma, Hillcrest, La Jolla, Pacific Beach, or Mission Valley.

Fielding a stable of skilled instructors, CorePower’s challenging and invigorating stretch system focuses on using movement, balance, and intuition to simultaneously detoxify, mend, and exercise the body and mind-muscles. Fundamental to their flexosophy is the Power Vinyasa course, an intense workout that hones in on improving core strength, fostering seamless flow, and mobilizing sidetracked spiritual journeys. Beginners can start with CorePower Yoga 1, a slower-paced course that emphasizes alignment and breath. For toning up, try Yoga Sculpt, a full-body workout that fuses basic yoga poses with maneuvering of free weights, dumbbells, and T-shirt cannons.

The health benefits of yoga are well known. Regular practice increases strength and flexibility while eliminating stress, uniting body and mind. Whether you’re a cardio-happy exerciser or a runner weary from leapfrogging neighborhood sinkholes, yoga can help to de-stress and ease overexerted joints.

Yelpers give the Point Loma location of CorePower Yoga an average of 4.5 stars and CityVoters named the Hillcrest location the Second Best Yoga Studio in the San Diego area:

  • They offer a great workout and encourage all levels to do what they are capable of. The instructors offer gentle adjustments and they offer a variety of classes with many times throughout the day. – Shannon S, CityVoter, Hillcrest location
  • I absoutely love the large selection of classes available throughout the day (early morning, late night you name it), various types of class (beginner, intermedient, hot, and sculpt) and parking is a cinch! – Leah F., Yelp, Point Loma location

Each instructor has their own style, which helps me explore my practice as well. They are all very knowledgable and really want you to enjoy yoga as much as they do...it provides for a very inviting and pleasant environment. I understand that it is expensive to run the studio in the heat/electricity, but I would be more willing to buy a membership or other class packages if they weren't so expensive. I do, however, like that there are many class and studio offerings.
