Choose Between Two Options

  • $54 for 10 CoreFit classes ($150 value)

One-hour CoreFit classes are held Monday-Friday at 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., and from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. 30-minute H.I.I.T 30 CoreFit classes are held Monday-Friday at 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12 p.m., and 12:30 p.m.

Core Sports Fitness

The mission and approach of Core Sports Fitness represents the fusion of the professional experience and education of its two founders, former Red Wings star Kris Draper and Dr. Jeff Pierce. Their combination of practical and medical knowledge allowed the two to devise a system that would help athletes strengthen their core skills, bolster their overall fitness, and learn the techniques needed to take their performance to the next level in their chosen sport. Although the center offers programs specifically tailored to sports such as soccer, basketball, and hockey, the coaches also offer more generalized sessions that emphasize the universal importance of strength, conditioning, and injury prevention. These sessions include exercises that proactively address areas of structural weakness or instability before they sustain damage. Personal-training sessions address the importance of healthy living off the court or field by providing nutritional guidance as well as general lifestyle recommendations and advice on choosing a sportier middle name. Though many of the training facility's approaches are geared toward increasing athletic performance within very specialized settings, the training techniques covered are also accessible for non-athletes hoping to lose weight or build muscle in a safe and supportive environment.
