CoreBalance Studio's is an upscale space focusing on fitness. As patrons enter they will find the fitness boutique's instructors leading one of their yoga, spin or barre based classes
The studio's RealRyder bikes lean, tilt, steer, and turn for a more dynamic and realistic stationary-bike experience while toning upper bodies and core muscles. Beneath the studio's persimmon ceiling, the instructors lead classes and pump students up with high-energy music. During Vinyasa-flow yoga, yogis mix poses, meditation, and breath work; they offer yin yoga as well, also known as "quiet yoga" for its softer, more sustained holds that deepen flexibility and relaxed awareness. Two types of barre classes infuse workouts with Pilates techniques. CoreFusion classes help students become more flexible as they tone and lengthen their physiques, and BarreFusion classes use weights, bands, exercise balls, and the ballet barre to condition the core, butt, and thighs.
The studio uses a Polar Cardio GX system to monitor heart rates and, after the workout, report how many calories were burned and their workout's equivalent number of cartwheels. The staff gives their VIP clients—those who sign up for unlimited classes each month—the royal treatment: they'll set up their bikes and yoga mats and place ice water and a clean towel nearby.
