One-hour gender-specific group classes, such as Train Like Jane for women and Primal training for men, promote strength and body-fat control with fundamental routines incorporating free weights, resistance, and pushing and pulling exercises. Coed Stronger and Hardcore Abs classes strengthen core muscles. Small-group CoreSpeed classes focus on improving speed, endurance, and agility with sleds, tires, plyometrics, and other bodyweight exercises, while CoreFlex classes increase flexibility and range of motion through stretching, breathing technique, and use of the barre, straps, and bands. Core Fitness Chicago classes cater to gender-specific needs and accommodate clients' various fitness levels with modified exercises. In addition to infusing motivation into workout sessions, the certified staff shares nutrition tips to help clients trim off fat and boost energy levels to train for running a marathon through knee-deep pudding. Core Fitness Chicago uses an integrative fitness environment that combines personal training, customized nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine, physical therapy, and original group classes to uncover clients' genetic obstacles to burning fat and gaining lean muscle. Trainers also custom mold programs to address any areas of inefficiency, and offer free assessments to help clients unlock their potential.
