Choose Between Two Options
- $99 for wine making with up to 30 750-mL bottles of Riesling or Peach Chardonnay ($199 value)
- $139 for wine making with up to 30 750-mL bottles of Black Raspberry or Chilean Merlot ($283 value)
Before wine making, hosts choose to craft one of the following wines: Riesling, Peach Chardonnay, Black Raspberry Merlot, or Chilean Merlot. The process will ultimately yield as much as 30 bottles of wine. During the first visit, which takes about 30 minutes, a Cork & Brew employee will help participants mix the wine ingredients, add the yeast, stir it up, and then head home. Attendees can taste the wine before it’s made and split a batch of wine with others, though the batch must be the same kind of wine. The baby wine must gestate for 8–12 weeks in a temperature-controlled space. The expert vintners will call you when your wine is ready to bottle. Novice wine makers then pour their homemade libations into bottles outfitted with custom labels.
Customers can bring their own bottles, or purchase bottles at Cork & Brew for $1.10 per bottle. Tax is not included in this Groupon, and is $7.70 per batch.
Cork & Brew
Inside Cork & Brew, a husband-and-wife team infects customers with their passion for brewing, judging, and, of course, drinking wines and beers. They stock all the necessary equipment, including fresh hops, grain, and malt, as well as wine must from all over the world. The duo’s hookup with a custom-labeling source allows their clients to brighten up bottles before giving them away as gifts, displaying them on wine racks, or using them to christen newly-purchased ocean liners. Guests also may mingle through the newly opened banquet and party facility, which hosts soirees of 10–80 people.
