About Cornbelly's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Fest and Insanity Point

Autumn has some of the best seasonal activities of the year, from crunching through the leaves to find the perfect pumpkin to holding close to your loved ones while running through the eerie turns of a htaunted house. That’s why when Brett and Nicole Herbst first started making their corn mazes—which they say once held a Guinness world record—they didn’t stick to just one activity. They decided to fill their farm with a celebration of the whole harvest season.

During the day, guests can partake of the farm’s more than 40 activities and events, including squeal-filled pig races, corn and pumpkin cannons, and a Halloween trick-or-treat parade. This year's main maze is themed around The Wizard of Oz and is cut into 12 acres of murmuring stalks, offering quick, easy paths for little ones, complex designs for the ultimate adventurers, and a haunted nighttime excursion guided only by a flashlight. At night, in an area isolated from all the family fun, gleefully terrified screams drift from Insanity Point, which incorporates evil clowns, the sensation of being buried alive, and an abandoned farmhouse where dentists will try and talk to you even though you obviously can’t talk back.
