This year’s Country Sole Run takes place on Saturday, June 20. Race-day packet pickup starts at 6 a.m. The 10-mile race starts at 7:05 a.m., and the shorter races start at 7:45 a.m. Entry includes admission to the after-party with a concert by Kristian Bush of Sugarland, known for hits such as “Trailer Hitch.”
Country Sole Run + Hit Artist Concert
During the Country Sole Run + Concert, runners glide along the lakefront in the anticipation of one thing: country music, played under the open sky. And maybe some good vibes, too, since the event sends part of its proceeds to charity.
Participants have a wealth of options for exertion. The course is chip-timed, but people can also choose to walk at a comfortable pace along a 1-mile, 4-mile, or 10-mile route. For those who do have a competitive streak, prizes will be awarded to top finishers.
