The Courage Challenge Mud Run and Obstacle Course Race
The Courage Challenge Mud Run and Obstacle Course Race brings out the best in its participants. By challenging runners to several miles of obstacles—there are more than 35, and kids aged 7 to 12 can participate on the first mile of the course—the race invigorates participants. Proceeds support organizations such as the Kiwanis Club, Hibiscus House for Children, and The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and prizes for top finishers incentivizes adventurous racers to learn how to make their shoes more aerodynamic by putting feathers on them. Kid's races are one mile and include six to seven obstacles; registration includes a finisher's medal and a T-shirt.
