The goal of each 6-hour session is aimed at helping waitstaff, bartenders, F&B managers, wine buyers, winery tasting room staff and anyone else working in the food and wine industry to hone their tasting and service skills, as well as better prepare those interested in pursuing sommelier certification exams such as Society of Wine Educators and the Wine & Spirit Education Trust examinations. SommDay School™ Workshops are also ideal for the student who wants to continue to study, taste and practice their service techniques in preparation for sommelier certification classes and exams. For anyone outside the industry–the avid wine enthusiast–you will also benefit from these workshops as they offer a taste of the life of a Sommelier.
