We sat at the bar, as the restaurant was completely booked. The bartender was very friendly, took our drink orders and served us the food. The minestrone soup was very good and served hot.

At The Courthouse Grille, savory aromas from a revamped dinner menu of authentic Italian pastas, Angus steaks, and seafood waft through the neoclassical decor. Guests begin culinary adventures by strapping on their mouth’s wetsuit and diving into the spinach and sun-dried tomato dip with the help of sturdy chips and garlic flat bread. For the main course, the spinach fettuccini’s trio of cremini, shiitake, and portobello mushrooms surf waves of al dente pasta splashed with mozzarella and balsamic cream. Alternatively, parties sink tines into an 8-ounce filet mignon that’s tender enough to cry at romantic comedies. Diners accompany hearty meals with polite conversation and sips from a glass of house wine or eight draft beers.

An inviting interior with arched entryways, grand chandeliers, and white tablecloths creates a warm ambiance that encourages leisurely dining experiences. Guests choose between seating in the main dining room, lounge, or a romantic alcove, chewing in time to live music Friday and Saturday evenings in the lounge.

About Courthouse Grille

Formerly Ernesto’s Country Italian Inn, The Courthouse Grille overhauled its name, menu, and interior to become the intimate Italian-American eatery it is today. While still featuring a selection of Chef Ernesto’s best-loved dishes, the menu has expanded to include eclectic cuisine such as seafood-stuffed crêpes and lobster mac ‘n’ cheese.

The restaurant's façade remains as formidable as ever, with white columns supporting porches in front of the yellow, clapboard siding. The peaks of pediments rise above arched, floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the dining room with the natural light craved by potted plants and solar-powered chefs.
