Q:

I would like to do a 4 hour trip for 2, but this is not an option. Can I buy 2 2hour trips for 2 and use them back to back on the same day?

Robin K.  asked on  Aug 24, 2012

A:

Yes, that would be fine, just buy two and you may use them for a combined time of 4 hours. Thanks for your inquiry and let us know if we can be of further assistance. Cracker Creek

Q:

We have kayaked the Silver River. And, saw many aligators...which was wonderful. Do your kayak adventures report of this? Also, the water is dark correct?

Susan G.  asked on  Aug 24, 2012

A:

Spruce Creek is fed from both fresh and salt water sources, whereas the Silver River is fresh water and clear versus the dark tannin stained water at the creek. Spruce Creek has alligators too, but not as many. Most sightings are in the spring and early summer. Thanks for your inquiry and let us know if we can be of further assistance. Cracker Creek

Yes, you can buy two groupons and use them together or at different times. Each coupon is good for 2 single kayaks, 1 tandem kayak, or 1 canoe. Thanks for your inquiry, let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Q:

Hi - tried to get to the website where I am sure this question is answered but it would not load. So, do you 'put in' right at the facility or would I be responsible for transporting kayaks to and from? Thanks, Don

Carolyn & Don W.  asked on  Aug 23, 2012

A:

Sorry about the problem with the web site, it should be up soon. You use the canoes/kayaks at our site, departing and returning to our location on Spruce Creek......no transporting necessary. We provide all the safety gear, basic instruction and the boat. Thanks for your inquiry and let us know if we can be of further assistance.....Cracker Creek

Q:

I've never canoed b4..is it difficult? Also how difficult to come back up stream against the current??

denise c.  asked on  Aug 22, 2012

A:

Hey Denise, No it is not difficult - very easy going in fact and the current is not strong so upstream will be fine. It's designed for beginners and children in mind. Hope this helps
