Massage therapist Andrea Craft believes that she should be as transparent at her current job as she was in her last job at an environmental company, where she worked as an archaeological field director and researcher. So at Craft Massage, she strives to teach people about the muscles in their body, something they likely never learned unless they studied anatomy or grew up with parents who relabeled their Operation game so it was "less silly."

During her massages, Andrea points out how her clients are putting stress on their bodies and teaches them how to change their ways. She hopes this will prevent them from becoming dependent on her to find relief. She customizes the massage to the client's issues and may incorporate deep-tissue pressure, trigger-point release, Swedish and Russian techniques, or myofascial. Though her massages are mostly therapeutic, Andrea can add a little pampering in the form of a Himalayan-salt-stone exfoliation or a hot-oil hand treatment for an additional cost.
