What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Crafts & Drafts does DIY craft classes in bars for public and private events. We're different from your usual paint and drink events in a lot of ways! We offer over a dozen different craft projects like clock painting and building pipe lamps instead of just painting a canvas, we like usable art! You also get to customize your project, we even use stencils and such to help even the most art-impaired, and you get to check out new bars and restaurants around the city at each of our events.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

I'm always crafting and making Do-It-Yourself projects so when I was invited to yet another wine and paint bachelorette party I couldn't help but think, there are so many things you can do besides just painting canvas, why don't we? So I decided to make it happen!" Owner & Founder, Ananda.

What do you love most about your job?

Everything! It combines pretty much everything I love doing: crafting and art, hanging out and meeting new people and checking out new places around the city.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

It's happened a bunch but the best reaction is when someone doesn't think they're very crafty or skilled and say they aren't going to do well but then at the end of the event, they are so excited and proud of what they made! We hear a lot of, "I didn't think I was going to do well but I *actually* like it! I'm definitely going to use this!".
