About Crane Brewing Company

Like many craft breweries, Crane Brewing Company began as a hobby, with founder Michael Crane bonding with his sons by whipping up small batches of homemade ales. Eventually, the recipes and projects became more ambitious, attracting the attention of beer nerds, as well as plenty of national awards. Today, a team of professional brewers, chemists, and chemical engineers help Michael Crane introduce the fruits of his labor to a much wider audience with an industrial-size brewery and in-house laboratory. The commitment to bold, inventive recipes lives on, as brewers harvest wild yeast and combine exotic ingredients to create beers inspired by the rustic ales of Europe and the bold beers of their home in Raytown, MO.
