Is this technique similar to rolfing

Hi Victoria, Craniosacral work is not like Rolfing. Even though Rolfing is highly skilled in its techniques, I do not manipulate the body's connective tissue in order to release stress patterns. This work is very light and subtle, however, powerful because it works with the body's craniosacral sytem, it's intelligence, to find it's natural flow, its optimum healing nature. I help the body do this and the only thing I will ask of you is to relax, allow your body to do what it does best (to heal and bring you back into balance) and be receptive to what ever the body needs to go through to find its alignment. All these modalities such as Rolfing are good and have their own specific abilities. Craniosacral Therapy is an overall whole body connection with itself and in this it relieves physical pain, restore clarity and insight, and optimizes physical and emotional wholeness. Give it a try. You may be pleasantly surprised.
