Even before you get a peek at the menu, there's no question what's for dinner at Crawfish Factory. The interior screams seafood, with fishing nets that hang from the ceiling, decorative fish covering the walls, and painted murals depicting the open waters—where crews work hard to pull crabs and their cute little mittens from the chilly depths. All in all, Crawfish Factory seems to have an ocean's worth of seafood at their counter: clam chowder that fills up bread bowls, fish and shrimp tacos, and fresh clams straight from the San Francisco Bay.
The chefs even let diners order custom seafood by the pound through a three-step process: pick a catch (perhaps Dungeness crab), then a flavor like Cajun Louisiana-style, and finally a spice level from mild to hot. Extras from corn on the cob to cold beer complete the meal. Just be sure to save room for Crawfish Factory's dessert specialty, snow ice in flavors such as chocolate with strawberry topping and caramel sauce.
