About Crazy Dash - Detroit
Crazy Dash Digital Adventures's "dashes" are sort of like walking tours—if walking tours were guided by smartphones and sometimes involved kissing a parking meter. Dash participants chart a course between 20+ checkpoints, following a route mapped out on their phones. The checkpoints range from historical sites to hole-in-the-wall boutiques; at each one, teams of two to four work together to answer trivia questions, collect clues for the race's culminating question, and pose for wacky pictures that can earn them bonus points. The contest-like setup ignites competitive spirits, but along the way, racers also learn about local history and hot spots.
