I have fibomyalgia among other illnesses. I take a liquid viamin B12. With fibro you are in chronic pain which leads to anxiety and depression. Do you also have other programs for me?

Upon your first visit, you will be able to discuss with the provider other treatments that may be covered by insurance. We are in network with most major carriers.

Q:

How many mcg are each injections? Also, do you run blood work to determine if a B12 deficiency exists?

A:

There is 1000 mcg of B12 in each injection. We could send you for bloodwork if a provider thinks it might be necessary, but in most cases it is not to get injections.

Does it matter what other medications that you are on to use this? How often do they recommend getting these injections?

There are some medications that may affect the absorption of B12. Please see this information from the National Institutes of Health: http://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/VitaminB12-QuickFacts/. One of our providers will discuss the best frequency for you when you come in for your first appointment.

There is no charge for the initial consultation. At the consult, you will discuss with one of our providers how often you will come in for the injection.
