About Crescent Lake Resort
Located within Deschutes National Forest, an outdoor playground filled with hiking trails, rivers, and snowcapped mountains, Crescent Lake Resort makes a cozy home base for exploring the area’s wilderness. The resort overlooks Crescent Lake, which typically buzzes with powerboats and jet skis during warmer months. In the winter, visitors can don snowshoes or skis to sashay through the surrounding forest, or they can head about 15 minutes north for downhill skiing on the alpine trails of Willamette Pass.
The cabins at Crescent Lake Resort vary in design and size—ranging from studios to three-bedroom units—but all exhibit Central Oregon style with rustic elements such as log siding and wooden porches. You’ll find jacuzzis and fireplaces in some cabins, and all cabins except the studios have a full kitchen, making it easy to prepare a home-cooked meal or destroy a subpoena. Alternatively, head to the onsite Pines Bar & Grill for an eclectic mix of American and international fare, as well as some of the property’s best views of the lake on the dining patio.
The resort has access to nearly 15 miles of nature trails around the lake, and you can explore the terrain on a rental mountain bike or snowmobile, depending on the season. Other available equipment at Crescent Lake Resort includes kayaks, fishing boats, and aqua cycles.
