Crooked Hammock Brewery

Crooked Hammock Brewery, founded in October of 2015, provides a backyard beach-like escape for everyone. They offer homemade bites and hand-crafted brews made locally. Some of the brews featured on their constantly rotating taps include:

• Shoobie Belgian Blonde Ale: a traditional, light Belgian offering dedicated to the city folks who journeyed to the beach by train in the late 1800’s.

• Mootzy’s Treasure IPA: named after a local war hero, Richard “Mootzy” Mootz, a native to Sussex County, Delaware, who served proudly in World War II and spent time after the war collecting treasure as one of the famed “Monuments Men”. This East Coast IPA features three different hop varieties and a rich malty backbone making this hop forward ale an easy drinker.

• Wai Ola California Coconut Ale: meaning “water of life” in Hawaiian and is precisely the vibe Head Brewer, Chris Wood, aims to capture in developing this light, California style ale. This beer packs tons of summer flavor, thanks to additions of not just coconut water, but roasted coconut flakes in multiple stages of the brewing process.
