During CrossFit classes, trainers design a new Workout of the Day, or WOD, every day. Though the exercises change constantly, athletes usually perform moves such as running, rowing, Olympic weightlifting, and nonconventional exercises such as gymnastics and tire flipping. Trainers blend these moves with other fitness disciplines such as plyometrics, weightlifting, and interval training to create a different Workout of the Day, or WOD, each day.
