Exercise at CrossFit 2.2 is designed to improve performance across a wide spectrum of fitness domains, including endurance, strength, flexibility, speed, coordination, agility, and balance. To help members accomplish such gains, the coaches constantly craft new workouts filled with functional movements that pay dividends in everyday life—think squatting to pick up a child, lifting boxes onto high shelves, or running away from a rodeo clown. During any given hourlong workout, people may grunt their way through Olympic-style weightlifting, swing kettlebells, flip giant tires, climb ropes, and jump onto plyometric boxes. CrossFit 2.2 also keeps open-gym hours so people can perfect their form on their own time.
