According to CrossFit 4042, there are nine basic ingredients to make the perfect workout. Their Foundations course teaches you how to execute all of them, from squats to presses to deadlifts. This class is a prerequisite for the gym's regular CrossFit classes, which combine these fundamentals into varied workouts of the day or WODs. The nine exercises are the same for all body types—coaches merely scale their intensity, adjusting the routine to suit the individual.
