Although they all come from different backgrounds, the coaches at CrossFit Covert agree on the best part of every workout: the community. Each workout of the day challenges its participants to lift weights and complete exercises for functional fitness. The intensity of the routine varies according to who's doing it, but the movements remain the same. The camaraderie is likewise shared—everyone encourages everyone else to finish their reps and come back for more.
With its bright yellow accents and open floorspace, the gym welcomes visitors of all ages. Many of its classes have babysitters scheduled at the same time, so parents can bring their children. Also on the schedule are women's boot-camp classes, kids' classes, and Saturday yoga sessions.
