The one-week Ramping Up program includes three sessions, whereas the two-week program includes six sessions. These workouts are designed to prepare CrossFit novices for more demanding future sessions, and consist of warm-ups, stretches, and workouts. All newcomers must complete introductory classes before being deemed eligible for CrossFit classes or open gym time.
Rigorous and always changing, the daily workouts at FTF Fitness in Clovis unite members of all levels of athleticism under the watchful eyes of a CrossFit-Certified Coach. Trainers here don't just develop trainees' muscles with intense, functional movements—they also work to cultivate a community of fitness enthusiasts. To that end, the box regularly hosts seminars and special challenges. And, when staff members aren't leading Workouts of the Day, they're recording a podcast to keep perspiring pals connected via earbuds.
